Job Summary The Contract Administrator is part of the Product and Sales Operations Team focused on process excellence to support Charles River Microbial Solutions' diverse product portfolio. The Contract Administrator will play an important part of our strategic role in working with both internal and external customers to grow our business and sustain long:term customer relationships. The incumbent is responsible the preparation, review and administration of customer contracts and document requests, working cross:functionally to ensure appropriate legal, business and customer needs are met. This position also supports projects to help drive efficiencies in contract and document management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare and review contracts for customers including, but not limited to, confidentiality, master service agreements, material transfer agreements, tenders, as well as other document requests - Coordinate contract inputs with legal, sales, product management, service and others as needed, with an emphasis on European contract requests. - Interact directly with customers following established communication and draft review procedures. - Utilise Charles River agreement templates upon request. - Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status and modifications to appropriate stakeholders - Prepare Amendments as needed. - Obtain appropriate management reviews and approvals for assigned contracts. - Maintain accurate records in contracts database. Suggest process improvements. - Prioritise workload with goal of customer satisfaction and meeting business needs. Escalate issues when they arise. - Perform other related duties as assigned. This is a remote working role ideally based within Europe. Job Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING: - Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Law, Business or equivalent in a related discipline. - Established experience in a contract administration, customer service, supply chain or related role, preferably in a life science or product manufacturing company. - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. - Demonstrated familiarity with customer contracts and document requests, and ability to quickly to learn how legal requirements apply to Charles Rivers' business. - Strong communicator and customer service acumen. - Adept at developing business relationships across different functional areas on a global basis. - Works independently in a fast:paced, rapidly changing environment; very proficient at project prioritisation and time management. - Change agent; ability to manage through uncertainty. - Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with Smartsheet, data visualisation, and CRM is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and type at a computer. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. - Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts.
