Capex is recruiting on behalf of one of Ireland's largest Main Contractors who are growing their team based on recent expansion and are recruiting a Health and Safety Officer for their Residential Project in Dublin. This company is a leading Contractor with vast experience across all sectors of the construction industry. Nationally recognised and with a portfolio of major projects across all sectors of the industry, these roles are a fantastic opportunity to gain long-term employment with some of the country’s leading Main Contractors. The Roles Include: * Developing, implementing, and maintaining project-specific Health and Safety plans * Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards * Delivering toolbox talks and health and safety training sessions to site staff and contractors * Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions where necessary * Working closely with project teams to ensure all works are carried out in compliance with statutory regulations and company policies The Person: * Completed a third-level qualification in Health and Safety or a related discipline * 2+ years of experience in a Health and Safety role within the construction industry * Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation * Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills * Proficient in maintaining accurate records and producing detailed reports This is a great opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to further their career and work for one of Ireland's most established Main Contractors.
