Job Description

Our client is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician/Building Service Engineer to join a specialist team servicing and maintaining smoke ventilation systems for prestigious clients across Dublin and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with a background in maintenance or FM (facilities management), looking for a field-based role with autonomy, trust, and career progression. The Opportunity• Full-time, permanent position based primarily around Dublin, with some travel across Ireland and occasional trips to the UK. • Mix of working solo or alongside another maintenance electrician/service engineer depending on project size. • Projects range from large-scale maintenance to multiple smaller jobs per day. What You'll Be Doing • Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on: o Smoke and day-to-day ventilation systems o Pneumatic smoke exhaust systems o Window actuator systems o Mechanical and natural smoke shaft systems o Smoke/fire curtains o Pressurization and car park extraction fan systems o Minor commissioning works (training provided on SHEV control panels). o Client-facing work across office blocks, apartment complexes, hospitals, pharma sites, and warehouses. What We're Looking For • Fully qualified Electrician (essential). • Full, clean driving licence (essential). • Previous facilities management experience in service and maintenance on electrical systems. • Strong, neat working practices, ideally in residential/domestic/commercial electrical environments. • Professional, people-focused attitude — you’ll be the face of the business on clientsites. • Specialist training will be provided across different systems if required.
