Job Description
Kayfoam, part of Leggett and Platt's International Bedding group, is searching for a Quality Engineer to support the International Spring facility in Dublin, Ireland. Kayfoam is a leading bed manufacturer operating within the independent and group retail sectors. As a subsidiary of Leggett and Platt Furniture Company, one of the largest global organizations in the bedding industry, we uniquely own our foam, mattress, and bed manufacturing facilities. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and working cross:functionally to implement quality processes and initiatives.

Lead setup and management of the Quality Management system in line with ISO9001 implementation.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
:
Lead internal and external audits; ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

Collaborate with production, product development and engineering teams to improve processes and resolve quality issues.
:
Maintain documentation and prepare reports for quality metrics and trends.
:
Support supplier quality management and performance monitoring.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in quality management or quality engineering.
:
2+ years of experience in quality engineering or similar role.
:
Experience with ISO standards and implementation of ISO 9001
:
Knowledge of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, Lean).

Proficiency in quality inspection tools and statistical software.
:
Strong problem:solving and communication skills.
