Salary: Competitive, based on experience Join one of Ireland's leading logistics providers in a vital leadership role where you'll help shape efficient, safe, and high-performing transportoperations. --- About the Role As a Transport Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of delivery operations from our Dublin depot. You'll ensure our fleet, drivers, and customer service work in harmony-delivering on time, every time. --- Key Responsibilities Plan, review, and optimise delivery routes with a strong focus on cost efficiency and customer service excellence. Manage driver rotas 4 weeks in advance, ensuring full shift coverage and robust absence contingencies. Monitor driver hours, safety compliance, appearance, and performance through daily debriefsand ongoing supervision. Track live fleet activity and provide real-time updates to the customer service team. Ensure daily vehicle checks and accurate logbook entries; conduct regular audits on fleet condition. Coordinate all vehicle servicing, fridge maintenance, repairs, and legal certifications. Maintain accurate digital records covering mileage, servicing, tax, and insurance. Weekly reconciliation of fuel usage; manage return and security of fuel cards and keys. Induct new drivers, perform regular licence checks, and update the skills matrix to ensure operational coverage. Promoteand enforce a safety-first culture; ensure audit readiness at all times. Facilitate smooth handovers between day and night shifts to maintain 24/7 operational continuity. --- About You Proven experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role. Strong planning and communication skills withthe ability to lead and motivate a team. Good working knowledge of fleet compliance, driver regulations, and route optimisation systems.
