Service Engineer Location: Holywell, Flintshire Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (with flexible overtime) Salary: £31,200 basic (up to £45,000–£60,000 with overtime) Join a leading Flintshire-based company specialising in cutting-edge industrial equipment as a Service Engineer. THE JOB Install, commission, maintain, and repair advanced machinery at client sites across the UK (all travel time paid). Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during urgent breakdowns. Conduct equipment assessments and deliver clear, professional technical reports to clients. Recommend upgrades or modifications to boost client operational efficiency. YOU Essential: Valid UK driving licence. Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with practical skills in fitting, welding, and minor fabrication. Basic knowledge of electrical systems. Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients and colleagues. Flexibility to work occasional weekends, irregular hours, or overnight stays (including occasional travel to Ireland). Ability to thrive independently or as part of a team. SALARY BREAKDOWN -  Base Salary: £31,200, with overtime earnings of £45,000–£60,000. Overtime Rates: Time + 1/3 for out-of-hours work and travel; Saturdays at time + 1/3 (Sundays excluded). Standard Hours: 40 hours/week (08:00–16:30). Leave: 22 days annual leave + all bank holidays.
