The Role Supporting Hannah in her own home, encouraging and enabling her to fulfil her hobbies and interests whilst adhering to the care plan and implementing the therapy programmes. They require *Female Rehabilitation Support Workers to actively encourage Hannah to engage in therapy programmes that will assist her in achieving goals to increase her independence and take on stronger maternal responsibilities, as a mother to her daughter. Available Hours They are looking for *Female Rehabilitation Support Workers to cover fixed day and sleeping night shifts on a fixed 4:month rota working the following hours: : 08:00 : 20:15 (12 hours 15 minutes per shift) : 1 or 2 fixed shifts per week 20:00 : 08.15 (12 hours 15 minutes per shift) : 2 or 3 fixed shift per week. Rates of Pay Hands:On Hours (07:00 : 23:00) Monday to Friday: A GBP 16.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday: A GBP 18.00 per hour Sleeping Night (23:00 : 07:00) Monday to Sunday: A GBP 12.21 per hour (National Minimum Wage) Skills and Qualifications * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Motivational skills in creating a positive atmosphere on challenging days where her mood can get low. * Be an creative thinker who can identify new recreational and leisure interests, which are suitable, and risk assessed prior to taking Hannah. * Experience of working with clients with sustained brain injury would be helpful, although full training will be given. * Experience in working in a personal family home would be an advantage. * Full, clean, manual UK driving licence and be happy to drive the Clients vehicle. * Flexibility to accompany Hannah on short breaks and holidays. * Ability to build relationships with the family and MDT, whilst maintaining professional boundaries. * Willingness to assist with personal care.
