Supplier Quality Engineer (Packaging) Bedford A GBP 55,000 + Car Or Car Allowance + Life Insurance + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday + Pension + Free Parking + Benefits Supplier Quality Engineer required by a highly innovative packaging business to continuously improve their global supply chain quality. You will travel internationally approximately 20 of the time. Candidates will be experienced Supplier Quality Engineers from any transferable manufacturing environment (packaging experience is advantageous). You will have experience of implementing and improving processes to ensure supplier performance and quality capability. The role is interesting, technically challenging and rewarding. The Supplier Quality Engineer Role: * Working to identify and address potential supply chain issues and then to drive continuous improvement activity. * Working with global suppliers to implement, improve and maintain quality procedures and processes. * Improving supplier performance and capabilities through collaborative work. * Support suppliers with audits and monitor and implement findings. * Up to 20 travel on average with stay away of up to 2 weeks at a time. The Supplier Quality Engineer: * Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer from a transferable manufacturing industry (packaging experience is advantageous). * A proven track record of implementing, improving and maintaining quality procedures and processes. * Audit and continuous improvement experience.
