JOB : Gate Automation Engineer LOCATION : Birmingham (UK:Wide Travel) TERM : Permanent SALARY : GBP 35,000 : GBP 45,000 per annum, dependent on experience + Door:to:Door Pay + Overtime + Van + Benefits My client is a leading provider of gate and barrier automation systems, delivering high:quality solutions across commercial and residential sectors. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Gate Automation Engineer to join their team. This is a field:based role covering sites throughout the UK, with regular travel and occasional overnight stays required. The Gate Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Minimum 3 years' experience in the installation, servicing, and repair of automated gate and barrier systems : Strong diagnostic and fault:finding skills (both electrical and mechanical) : Solid understanding of gate safety regulations (e.g. DHF, Gate Safe) : Hands:on experience with motors, actuators, access control systems, and control panels : Professional attitude and strong customer service skills : Able to work independently with excellent time management : Flexible to travel nationwide and stay overnight when needed : Full UK Driving Licence is essential : CSCS, IPAF, DHF or Gate Safe certification is desirable The Gate Automation Engineer role will involve: : Installation, service, and repair of automated gates, barriers, and access control systems : Fault diagnosis and resolution on customer sites : Compliance with health and safety and relevant industry standards : Maintaining strong relationships with clients through clear communication and professionalism : Accurate completion of service reports and job documentation : Representing the company as a technical expert in the field ; Benefits Include: : Competitive salary ( GBP 35,000: GBP 45,000 DOE) : Door:to:Door Pay : Overtime available : Fully expensed company van : Tools, uniform, and PPE provided : Ongoing training and development opportunities If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up:to:date CV, your availability, and salary expectations.
