The role will include developing and achieving goals laid out in the business strategy and driving production through the plant in a cost: effective manner. Your Production Manager duties will also include reviewing and implementing processes to maximise efficiency and ensuring continuous improvement of production, waste and quality standards and processes. coaching, motivating and engaging with your teams. As Production Manager, you will also be responsible for reviewing and managing effective supplier relationships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Manager : Packaging Solutions A Effective leadership of all aspects of plant production, including process review and implementation. A Organise and monitor daily and monthly workflow to meet production targets and deadlines. A Ensure that production is accurate and meets product specifications. A Monitor production outputs and systems and ensure that any issues are promptly and effectively resolved. A Provide leadership to the team, including HR processes, coaching, mentoring and training. A Drive high standards of performance evaluation, monitoring and improvement through the team. A Be accountable for ensuring Health and Safety compliance across the production team. A Responsible for ensuring that Quality, ISO and FSC standards are adhered to and met. A Deliver sustainability objectives relating to production targets. A Work with the General Manager to formulate plans that meet wider business objectives. A Monitor stock control and supplier relationships to ensure that cost effective stock procedures are in place, and that supplier relationships are managed effectively. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Production Manager : Packaging Solutions A Ideally, you will have understanding of corrugated packaging and timber production processes, although we will also consider candidates of strong character from other manufacturing backgrounds A Previous commercial experience in a similar role with a good knowledge of Quality and Health and Safety. A Previous experience of supervising and leading teams, with the ability to provide effective leadership and manage people and performance.
