This is a full:time, permanent role offering the opportunity to lead on teaching and learning across the Science department and support wider school improvement. Salary: Lead Practitioner Scale (L1:L5) : approx. A GBP 47,417 to A GBP 52,171 per annum TLR available in addition depending on responsibilities About the role: * Leading on the development of high:quality teaching practice within the Science faculty. * Supporting staff CPD, mentoring colleagues, and modelling outstanding classroom practice. * Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for experienced candidates). * Contributing to whole:school strategies for curriculum development and student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have: * A degree in a Science subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . * A proven track record of excellent classroom teaching and impact on student progress. * Experience in leading or coaching colleagues within a department or whole:school context. * A passion for Science education and a commitment to raising standards.
