Responsibilities As a Graduate Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: * Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations. * Conducting fieldwork, including soil and rock logging, sampling, and in:situ testing. * Supervising drilling, trial pitting, and other ground investigation activities. * Preparing factual and interpretative reports based on site investigation data. * Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. * Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Supporting senior engineers in the design and analysis of geotechnical and geo:environmental solutions. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: * A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline. * A strong interest in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * A proactive and problem:solving mindset with attention to detail. * A willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to project sites as required. * A valid driving license is desirable but not essential. Day:to:Day Your day:to:day activities as a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer will involve: * Conducting site visits to perform ground investigations and collect data. * Collaborating with team members to analyze and interpret geotechnical and environmental data. * Preparing detailed logs, records, and reports based on fieldwork findings. * Attending project meetings and contributing to discussions on technical solutions. * Gaining exposure to a variety of projects across different sectors, including infrastructure, construction, and environmental remediation.
