Finance Assistant - The Role: A fantastic opportunity to join an established company in a varied and interesting role. Working closely with the Finance Manager, to assist in a variety of areas including: * Payroll * All payments/invoicing * Quickbooks * Insurances * Fleet maintenance * Expenses * Project Management support * Processing/Checking purchase and sales invoices, completing multiple bank reconciliation * Setting up new suppliers on the system, Processing monthly VAT and CIS returns. * Entering and checking employee’s expenses/mileage * Making payments to suppliers and resolving supplier queries by phone or email * Managing the data entry of the monthly payroll and pension to be processed by an outsourced company. Finance Manager - The Person * You will ideally have at least 2 years in a similar role within an SME * You will have AAT Level 2 in Accounting or above * Experience managing CIS Payments * Demonstrable experience of working in a varoed role within thefinance department * Keen to learn new skills and take on responsability * Strong skills in Exel and systems/I.T is essential * Commutable to weston-super-mare * Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things * A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
