Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and qualified Fleet Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing best practices for cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to optimize the use, maintenance, and replacement of vehicles and equipment. * Coordinate the acquisition, disposal, and replacement of fleet assets in line with budgetary constraints and operational needs. * Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers. * Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of vehicles and equipment. * Supervise and lead a team of fleet maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to achieve high performance standards. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies and innovations to enhance fleet operations. * Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, budget adherence, and future planning. Qualifications and Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. * Proven experience in fleet management, with a track record of successful leadership. * Strong knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. * Familiarity with fleet management software and technologies. * Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in fleet management.
