About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer to join an existing team of experts with an eye for detail and a finesse to their skill. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a company where quality supersedes speed and attention to detail is paramount to deliver iconic and flawless vehicles to a bespoke number of customers. You will be responsible for the paint lifecycle of luxury vehicles working to bespoke and custom specifications. This role requires a broad range of skills including paint preparation, spray painting, tinting, and colouring ensuring the application of base coasts, primers, lacquers, finishes are flawless. The Duties and Responsibilities as a Paint Technician: * Preparation of panels for painting including prime, prep and masking * Carry out full re:sprays and necessary repairs using various spraying techniques * Application of basecoats, primers, lacquers, and finishes * Working with a variety of paints including; * Water and solvent based * Clear over base * Solid and two:pack * Metallics, 3:stage Pearlescents, Candies, Matte lacquer, Satin, or Gloss finishes * Special mixes * Ensuring vehicles are flawless with no drip marks, tear backs or defects * Flattening and polishing using specialist methods * Ensure all parts and panels are audited with relevant sign off. * Occasional panel repair (filler work) and light strip and refit The Ideal Paint Technician: * Must have extensive hands:on experience of whole vehicle spray painting. * Background in classic restoration, motorsport, or high:end vehicle builds is a major advantage * Experience with carbon fibre components is desirable * Meticulous attention to detail and pride in your work * Confident working independently or as part of a team * Good understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations * Flexibility to work overtime when required Hours and Pay: * Hours: Day Shift: Monday : Thursday (7:00 AM : 4:30 PM), Friday (7:00 AM : 12.45 PM). Overtime opportunities available. * Umbrella Pay: A GBP 30 per hour paid via PAYE Umbrella model Please note, this role is deemed inside of IR35.
