Project Manager (Rolling stock) Hybrid in Derby Are you an experienced project manager looking for a new challenge? We are supporting our client who provides high quality rolling stock solutions that help to deliver a safe, efficient and sustainable railway. You will be part of the Major projects function to deliver complex, high value and diverse projects to include New build, New technology introductions, refurbishments and infrastructure upgrades. What you will be doing; * Supporting the safe operation of fleets * Delivery of lease obligations for delivery of new rolling stock, associated contract variations, heavy maintenance and modifications * You will ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality * Ensuring projects are managed to ensure the safe operations of vehicles with consideration of lease obligations * Supporting supplier accreditations, auditing activities and processes * Working with internal and external stakeholders * Ensuring all projects are reported so the business is updated on progress, costs, risk and opportunities * You’ll support the development of maintenance/overhaul activities to ensure compliance is achieved * Where applicable, support the development of graduate trainees/apprentices to ensure they are effectively deployed to support project requirements What they are looking for; * Extensive experience in the Rolling stock industry * Strong project management experience * Ideally certified APM, PMP, Prince 2 * Knowledge of lease obligations on rolling stock and contract maintenance * Experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders They are offering salary circa £55-65k plus 10% annual bonus, private medical as well as the following benefits * Excellent pension scheme * Financial wellbeing support * Flexible working * Enhanced family friendly policies * Adoption&Shared Parental Leave benefits * Enhanced Armed Forces policies * Ongoing support with professional and personal development’ * Long service awards * Life assurance * 25 days’ annual leave + Bank Holidays + option to buy and sell up to 5 days’ additional leave * Additional days annual leave for long service * Season ticket loan * Cycle to work
