This opportunity that we are looking into for our business partner has come about based on a 5 year contract having been won with the Birmingham City Council. The contract is based mostly within the city centre, performing high quality Asbestos Surveys on domestic sites. This is the perfect opportunity if you are not looking to travel far and wide as the sites are clustered together. That doesnt mean to say there wont be the occasional job that is in Middlesborough or Essex, dont let this scare you as they are terrifically understanding and split this work between the team, no Surveyor left behind * Key Duties of an Asbestos Surveyor: * Able to identify asbestos containing materials * Assess the risk of materials that contain asbestos * Possess a high quality of communication skills both verbally and written * Confidently produce a concise and accurate report after surveying * Work in a timely manner to adhere to deadlines set * Have an up:to:date knowledge of industry guidelines. * Qualifications Required: * BHOS P402 qualified (More qualifications are welcomed; they are hiring more senior roles as well) * Between 1: and 4:years experience which will decide the range of salary. * Full UK driving license * Working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Teams If you are looking for a new job and this role I have advertised is of interest, dont hesitate, call me, Tom Corbett on 442 and we can go over the details including where you are currently.
