Well established tech company in Glasgow is looking for a Senior Software Developer (.Net, Azure and VueJS) to join their growing Agile team. Youll be working directly on a greenfield project using a modern tech stack, within a forward thinking organisation that offer very flexible working. The role is part of a wider growth phase for the business, with a number of hires planned in the coming months. Youll be coming into an Agile squad as the sixth Developer, and youll play a key role in shaping how this product evolves. The company has a strong track record of building successful products used globally, and their latest platform, now at MVP stage, has already attracted significant interest from their customer base. Its a pure SaaS model, designed to be scalable and repeatable, and packed with potential. Youll help build new features, refine existing ones, and influence the products technical direction as it matures. Their current stack includes .NET, SQL, Microservices, Azure and VueJS, so youll ideally feel comfortable with most of these technologies. However, theyre open minded on technology, what theyre really looking for is someone whos comfortable working across the stack, brings strong engineering fundamentals, and has a collaborative working style. As a Senior Developer, youll be expected to help coach and mentor less experienced team members, youll be seen as a technical escalation point, and will be involved in some system design meetings. Ideally, youll bring; ** Strong commercial experience with C and the .NET ecosystem ** Good JavaScript experience with a modern framework (Vue, React or Angular) ** Experience building or contributing to cloud based products (ideally in Azure, but AWS or GCP is fine too) ** A good understanding of clean code, testing, and scalable systems Bonus points for; ** Working in a SaaS product environment ** Microservices ** DevOps exposure The teamwork in a flexible hybrid way, with most people working remotely and coming into their central Glasgow office for ad hoc meetings or team sessions. Salary wise, theyre looking in the region of GBP55k to GBP70k, depending on experience and skill level, with a good benefits package to match.
