What You Will Do: : Manage end:to:end payroll processing of monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, bonuses, benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments. : Ensure accuracy of employee records within Sage payroll, including personal details, pay rates, and deductions. : Manage year:end process, including P60s, P11Ds, and HMRC submissions. : Liaise with external payroll providers in Europe and the USA to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. : Line manage the Payroll Officer, providing guidance, training, and development support. : Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency within the payroll function. What You Will Bring: : Proven payroll experience in a medium or large company, ideally within a manufacturing environment. : Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team. : Expertise in Sage Payroll systems is essential. : Comprehensive knowledge of HMRC UK tax legislation. : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
