We are seeking a Technical Manager with a background in Dairy Processing or Similar Food Manufacturing and Food Safety, with a good understanding of the FMCG in the food sector. The role: * Oversee and manage all technical aspects of our dairy production process from raw materials, processing and finished goods to our customers. * Lead a team that includes a Quality Assurance Advisor, an onsite laboratory team and sanitation team. * Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including HACCP, BRC and local food standards authorities. * Develop and implement quality control protocols and food safety measures for the manufacturing site and third-party logistics operator. *Collaborate with Production, engineering and logistics departments to optimize production processes and food safety. * Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in food science and chilled food FMCG operations. * Train staff on new technology and protocols related to food science and food safety. * Ensure all quality management systems and document control processes are up to date. * Handle any technical issues that arise swiftly and professionally. * Corroborate all quality processes and systems comply with internal standards linking with European head office and international requirements. The Person: * Degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or related field. * Proven experience in a technical management role within the dairy industry or similar chilled food sector. * Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety regulations. * Experience inthe FMCG sector. * Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
