The role of Peer Support Service Coordinator will include: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Developing, delivering and coordinating the provision of peer support, volunteer and group work to meet the needs of customers : Recruiting and training new Peer Support Workers, Volunteers and Group Facilitators to support the service : Promoting services to ensure effective uptake : Reporting on service delivery whilst building and maintaining knowledge of local services : Using initiative to identify sources of funding and submitting bids for future funding . : Supporting the business to ensure the continued financial viability of peer support services and volunteer programmes : Liaising with organisations to develop existing services Skills and experiences: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Experience of working with a variety of client groups is essential : Knowledge of the volunteer sector and associated agency support : Counselling qualification from a BACP accredited course : The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work loads : Excellent communication skills including clear written and spoken English : Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel and email communications : Travel will be a requirement of the role Are you ready to be your best?
