Gas Engineer Lancing, East Sussex GBP 42,847 : GBP 45,102 per year 40 hours per week : Monday to Friday : 8:00am : 4:30pm We are looking for highly motivated Gas Engineers to join our South East Gas team. Carrying out installation, gas servicing and repairs on a wide range of different systems, the role will be mostly lone working and you will be provided with a company van and all the power and essential tools needed for the job. You will also be issued with an iPhone and tablet which links to our systems including scheduling and fault reporting. The role of Gas Engineer will include: : Carrying out installations, fault finding, maintenance duties, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems, in accordance with contract and service specifications : Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed : Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications : Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications : Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets : Contributing as appropriate to special programmes and projects in support of the Groups values and objectives Skills and experiences: : To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 Unvented : G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) or currently undertaking the qualification. Unvented Hot Water Qualification UDHW is also essential. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application : Ideally you will have experience of servicing and repairing boilers : The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems : Have a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all : This role will involve driving on company business.
