I am recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a fantastic Highways and Transport Planning specialist SME Consultancy in Central London or Guildford. The ideal candidate will have around 2 to 4 years experience. You will be able to use AutoCAD to a good standard and have experience working on highways engineering and transport planning schemes. You will be able to work flexibly and how you see fit, with no set days in the office and you'll be given training opportunities both inside the consultancy and externally regularly. Recent projects include the redevelopment of Cavendish Square which has been heralded by the Mayor of London, a 100,000sqm Highrise on Finsbury Avenue and the Formula E excel centre. CAD Technician Responsibilities Designing and implementing highway design solutions for our clients in the private and public sectors; Developing excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, external providers and other agencies; Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to budget and programme; Preparing reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates and other documents; and Assisting senior members with monthly programme and financial reporting.CAD Technician Requirements Good levels of numeracy, including a good understanding of spreadsheets.
