About you: * An international profile and technology experience in the Accounting&Advisory industry. This network's customers are independent accountancy firms located globally, so a good knowledge of leading technologies used in Accounting and Advisory is essential. * Able and willing to work from the London office one day per month and to travel internationally, to present at two-day conferences one week every 2 to 3 months. Otherwise, remote working. * Experience in identifying and adopting technology solutions and tools, such as audit/assurance tools, in the accountancy industry. * Credibility, seniority, and communication skills to influence and convince senior accountants of the importance of a progressive technology agenda. * Used innovative technology, AI, cloud technologies and data analytics to drive additional value for our network. * Strong knowledge and experience of project delivery concepts, cloud-based technology, data analytic tools, and new emerging technologies. * Experience working on various technology projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion. The role and responsibilities: * Advocate technology at the highest levels with partners of accountancy practices at member firms, developing strategic growth plans for various technology areas, including cloud, digital, and security. * Led round table discussions with member firms and created buy-in for developing technology and tech initiatives amongst the networks. Organise Sub-Groups and committees; Participate in regional planning discussions to achieve this. * Establish yourself as the go-to point of contact for technology with member firms by networking and presenting at international and national member events. * Ensure member firms buy into advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning knowledge and experience to work on the various technology projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion. * Develop and implement technology-related actions within regional groups in alignment with the global strategy. * Investigate emerging technologies such as AI in knowledge sharing and learning (Algorithmic Development, Platform Development), the use of Blockchain in transactions between members, global proposal platforms and client facilities for identifying global opportunities (FDI data). * Innovative technology, AI, cloud technologies and data analytics are key focus areas to drive additional value for our network.
