Due to growth and CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a number of multi:skilled shift engineers to join their production and packaging team. Role and Responsibilities: * Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all high:speed food production lines, packaging machinery, conveyors, metal detectors, labellers, baggers, checkweighers, PLCs, control panels, robotics, depositors * Electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns and overhauls * Working on motors, gearboxes, VSDs, inverters, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearings * Improving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work * Monitor contractors on site, ordering spares and parts Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer * Ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship * HNC / HND qualified in Engineering * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills * Previously have dealt with industrial processing and equipment and manufacturing systems * Must have worked in a similar food manufacturing or FMCG environment * Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures would be beneficial * Must have worked on motors, sensors, inverters, gearboxes, VSDs, pneumatics, drives * Experience of using SAP would be beneficial * Advantageous if worked with PLC systems * Any experience of working in an ATEX / CompEX environment would be great please / resume to ( ). / 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click apply.
