UX Manager Design Systems Location: London, UK or Dublin, Ireland Work Mode: Hybrid : Home based Position Summary: At Bentley Systems, we deliver solutions for complex engineering projects. Our users are the ones designing, building, and operating the world's infrastructure. It requires us to know their needs very well, and this is where UX design plays its critical role. As a member of the Bentley Design System team, you will use your knowledge and expertise to drive our visual craft and interaction design strategy, with a particular focus on building and supporting the Design System teams capabilities in accordance with ongoing work requirements. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, internal and external subject matter experts, and of course, users to understand the requirements for and ultimately the delivery of a Figma component library and supporting assets. These will be used by our larger team of UX designers to create high:quality product solutions at speed, improving coherence across our product ecosystem. This role will allow you to demonstrate your capability of leading a team of UX professionals by example. You will maximize and measure the weight of UX contributions, keep the stakeholders informed of progress, and be a trusted contact to communicate Design System advancements. Your Day:to:Day: : Manage the team of interaction and visual designers, including resource allocation and risk mitigation. : Grow and nurture design talent, identifying and addressing the skill gaps. : Mentor UX colleagues and incoming/onboarding team members. : Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and manage the scope in a fast:paced collaborative environment. : Participate and contribute to the work planning sessions, providing fair estimates. : Ensure the UX efforts are carefully documented, planned, and delivered in alignment with our product development cycles. : Facilitate and contribute to relevant UX design and research efforts. : Measure the impact of UX design and research efforts, ensuring the execution meets group standards. : Act as a design thinking advocate, strengthening the design community at Bentley. Other Duties: : Execute and manage campaign schedules. : Provide campaign reporting and analytics. : Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs. : Improve campaign ROI performance. : Provide input on search engine strategies. What You Bring to The Team: : +10 years' experience managing teams and working in product design, in complex environments supporting large product ecosystems. : A professional portfolio displaying skills, with an emphasis on problem:solving. : Experience in designing complex enterprise software products for different platforms in a B2B environment. : Extensive experience in UX/product or service design field and an eye for detail. : Proven track of successful UX Leadership on a complex project. : Ability to estimate, plan, and supervise the work of a large team for a project of a significant duration. : Ability to communicate design rationale to a diverse audience of engineering and business stakeholders. : Skills for interpreting detailed software engineering concepts and being able to design within known limitations. : Exceptional presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and networking skills. : Advanced Figma knowledge and skillset. Additional points for: : Familiarity with infrastructure field. : Prior exposure to 3D/CAD or other complex enterprise software. : Degree in Human:Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related field.
