Job Summary
Park Holidays UK is seeking a talented, motivated and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in preparing high:quality meals that meet our guests expectations while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires culinary expertise, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast:paced environment.
Job Duties
:Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and organisational standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
:Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation of all ingredients.
:Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
:Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the highest standards of quality, both in terms of taste and presentation.
:Work closely with other kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to kitchen assistants and other team members.
:Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
:Monitor food costs and minimise waste through efficient use of ingredients and careful portion control.
:Consider customer feedback and adjust recipes or presentation as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
:Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring all workstations are clean and well:stocked.
Requirements
:Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
:Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to create and present dishes to a high standard.
:In:depth understanding of food safety practices and procedures, including HACCP and other relevant regulations.
:High level of attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish prepared.
:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
:Ability to work in a fast:paced environment, managing time effectively to meet service deadlines.
:Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
:Passion for culinary arts with the ability to bring creativity and innovation to the menu.
