The Position: The company are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the site maintenance systems and operation on sight. * The company offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package on a day shift. * The company also provide genuine growth and development opportunities across the site and business (be this into projects, management, or other avenues) Skills&Requirements for an electrically biased maintenance engineer: * Apprentice trained, Mechanical HNC / HND qualification * Significant maintenance knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment * Practical hands on approach to problem solving * Experience with Pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors * Experience with Pump, gear boxes and valves * Self-motivated * Willingness to learn new processes * Able to work alone or as part of a team Responsibilities: The site runs an effective PPM system and as such is achieving great strides in a more planned and preventative maintenance systems as opposed to a wholly reactive set up. Maintenance is planned in such a way that tasks are dedicated to set days/periods of shutdown allowing a more effective maintenance structure and working environment.
