Weare looking for someone like you.We're currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to be based at our customer site in Nottingham, on our contract with Ibstock. As part of this busy transport operation, you'll ensure the timely and safe dispatch of drivers across Monday : Friday. With a team ofdrivers and units, this team will grow as the site develops. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to GBP 26,000per annum. In addition, we offer 25days holiday plus bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day: : To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes where required to achieve contractual delivery times : Distribute Ibstock volume to Core Fleet and Subcontract Haulier Partners : To liaise with external suppliers to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub:contractors minimising the cost impact to the business : Ensures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information to both internal and external customers as required e.g. debrief of drivers, dealing with customer issues etc. : Ensure that all vehicle inspections/MOT/Services are planned and completed. : To ensure that all traffic planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements e.g. RTR : To ensure compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements highlighting any concerns to line management What you need to succeed at XPO: : Experience of planning and managing a complex transport environment : Proven experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours : Experience of WTS transport planning system (Desirable) : Experience in telematics operating systems (Data Driven current provider) (Desirable) : Thrive under pressure within a challenging environment and solve complex problem Be part of Something Big: We strive to create an inclusive environment for all our colleagues, where everyone feels welcomed, empowered and where you can bring your true self to work.
