Position: Associate Town Planner Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with senior planners, architects, and stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive town planning strategies. * Conduct research and analysis on zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental impact assessments. * Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies. * Engage with the community through public consultations, addressing concerns, and incorporating feedback into planning proposals. * Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute to innovative planning solutions. Qualifications: * Bachelor x2019;s or Master x2019;s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field. * A proven track record in town planning or a related role. * Strong knowledge of local planning regulations and policies. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, or other planning software is a plus. * Membership in relevant professional organisations is desirable.
