This posting is to build a candidate pool, should the opening(s) become available.*** Job Summary/Purpose stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Individual shall have demonstrated skill in project controls obtained through working on Utility Infrastructure projects. : Supports Project Management team as needed to ensure successful execution of assigned projects by developing and maintaining project reporting, performing project assurance, and delivering cost and schedule certainty. : Supports and provides guidance associated with the governance process for Entergys Stage Gate Process (SGP) and project management standards ensuring standardization and continuous improvement in project delivery across Entergys Business Units. : Promotes safe behavior and adherence to the safety rules on the project. Job Duties/Responsibilities : Provides guidance in the various disciplines of project management and control by applying fundamental schedule and cost control techniques. : Performs rigorous and independent project assessments of projects within Entergys project portfolio to ensure compliance with Entergys SGP and project management standards; serves as a SGP Gate Reviewer. : Conducts training on the Entergy SGP, project management standards/implementation guides and various project controls disciplines, such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA). : Assists in the performance of analysis, optimization, and reporting on Entergy project portfolio including assessments of risk associated with completing planned scopes of work according to multi:year budget plans. : Support in the development and maintenance of project schedules, plans, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). : Identify, analyze and document project schedule and cost variances between planned and earned/actual progress and conclude on possible impacts. : Supports the SGP Gate Reviewer analysis by providing data on cost, schedule, progress, risk and processes. : Provide analysis of contractor schedule data to identify key project issues, verify contractor progress, and review their performance trends; support Project Admin and Accounting in review of contractor's invoices : Collaborates with the project manager and other project team members to identify, characterize and document project risks in a risk register and develops mitigation plans in accordance with the Standards. : Takes direction and provides support from project leadership in order to ensure quality cost, schedule, risk management, change management, contract management and reporting. : Facilitate and manage the Change Management process and document clearly throughout the project lifecycle; documents and tracks approved project changes. : Implement best practices of project management and controls principles on projects of varying segmentations and types of contracts. : Creates project portfolio performance metrics and reports performance. : Work is performed in both an office setting and in field conditions. Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 6 years equivalent/related work experience (in addition to the Minimum Experience requirement) in leu of a degree.
