If so, GSL Education can help. GSL Education are actively recruiting a General SEMH Cover to work at a client school located in Sheffield starting immediately. General SEMH Cover Responsibilities: The ability to identify students going into crisis mode and follow/be familiar with the Positive Behaviour Support System (PBS). Provide 1:1 support for a young student with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Support the delivery of in-class activities, promoting independent learning where possible, and encouraging appropriate social skills. Cover for other SEMH staff. Follow Education Health Care Plans to ensure outcomes are met.  Previous involvement in a Wellbeing and Mind Team (WIMT) as an added advantage. Previous working experience with Educational Psychology services, Paediatricians, CAMHS or Therapist. An Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education. General SEMH Cover Responsibilities:  Support on a one to one and small group basis. Follow Education Health Care Plans to ensure outcomes are met.  Assist in engaging lessons including outdoor education and creative learning.  Support young people social interaction.
