This is a hands:on role in a dynamic environment, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial management and a passion for continuous improvement. You will report directly to the CFO and manage a Management Accountant, taking ownership of all aspects of management accounts, budgeting, and finance process optimisation. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts with insightful commentary. * Lead the annual budgeting process, reforecasts, and cash flow planning. * Develop, implement, and enhance financial processes and internal controls to support a scaling business. * Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data, providing analysis and insights to support business decisions. * Drive automation and reporting improvements using Excel, Power Query, and other tools . * Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and improve financial performance. * Manage and develop one Management Accountant, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. * Support the CFO with ad:hoc analysis, board reporting, and strategic finance projects. Skills and Experience Required * ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent). * Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role in a growing, fast:paced business:ideally in care, healthcare, or service:led sectors. * Exceptional Excel skills :must be confident with advanced formulas, dynamic arrays, and Power Query . * Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and financial planning. * Experience implementing or improving finance systems and processes. * Able to thrive in a lean, agile environment with a hands:on approach. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate across functions. * Commercially savvy with a proactive and problem:solving mindset. * Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.
