As they continue to expand their analytics capabilities, they are seeking a few highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join their award winning team. Position: Data Scientist. Location: UK, South East England Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Modelling: Utilise statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyse complex datasets. Develop predictive models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights. Programming and Scripting: Proficient in programming languages such as, C#, Python, R, or Java to manipulate and analyse large datasets. Develop and maintain efficient and scalable code for data analysis tasks. Data Cleaning and Pre-processing: Clean and pre-process raw data for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity. Implement data wrangling techniques to handle missing values and outliers. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to integrate data-driven solutions into operational processes. Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Machine Learning Model Deployment: Implement machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Monitor and optimise deployed models for ongoing performance improvement. Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning. Propose and implement innovative approaches to enhance data analytics capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. A minimum of a 2:1 classification or above in the degree. Strong programming skills in languages such as, C# Python, R, or Java. Proven experience in applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to real-world problems. Solid understanding of data pre-processing, cleaning, and feature engineering. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration
