We’re seeking an expert in marketing – preferably with an interest or experience in logistics – to join the team at our Southampton-based client. Whether its marine and shipping, energy and power or construction, our client has been going strong in the logistics business for almost 130 years, and now it’s looking for a marketing manager to oversee and build its marketing operations to help It grow even further. Someone with a degree in marketing or equivalent qualification, and three or more years’ experience, would be an ideal fit for this role, which involves overseeing and leading both B2B and B2C campaigns and activity. The role also involves implementing the marketing strategy, developing and supporting the work of the marketing assistant, conducting market research, managing the marketing budget, analysing data and reporting, and working with senior management in devising new projects and strategies. The ideal candidate, together with the above experience, will need superior presentation and communication skills – written and verbal – excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills, strong IT skills and experience of running a small team. This is a full time role, with occasional travel to the client’s other offices in Scotland, and comes with a salary of £45,000, 25 days’ annual leave, a company car and a wealth of other benefits.
