We are currently hiring for a Director/VP Export Finance HSBC Infrastructure Finance As a Director or Vice President in the Export Finance team you will have responsibility for the origination and execution of Agency supported financing in a number of markets in the Americas, as well coordination on the use of ECAs and MDBs based out of the Americas into other regions with the regional Export Finance destination teams. You will report to the Regional Head of the Export Finance Americas business. You will be expected to travel to the region periodically and will work closely with the Global team across all sub:sectors and Borrower profiles, including, Sovereign, Corporate and limited recourse project finance. You will work closely with the global Export Finance team, relationship managers, product partners, ECAs, MDBs and Borrowers to originate, structure and arrange Agency supported financing for our clients. Key responsibilities would include: stylemargin:bottom:0.0cm;margin:top:0.0px: :Develop and implement a strategy to grow the Export Finance business in some key markets in the Americas, including delivery of all financial, capital, risk, resourcing, and operational objectives. :Drive client and agency (ECA, DFI, MDB, etc) engagement across the Americas, with responsibility of origination to execution and subsequent portfolio management. :Exhibit leadership attributes, accessing the junior resource on the team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. :Act with a level of autonomy in both origination and execution to seek out and pitch for new opportunities with HSBC's current and prospect clients. :Ensure the Americas Export Finance business is conducted within the risk and compliance framework for the business, ensuring alignment with HSBC's policies, procedures, and values. Key Skills/Experience required stylemargin:bottom:0.0cm;margin:top:0.0px: :Detailed understanding and demonstrable industry experience of the ECA, MDB, and DFI finance market. :Established track record of originating, structuring, and executing Agency supported financings. :Strong business communication and analytical skills, including credit and reputational risk. :Vision, capability and energy to devise and implement strategic initiatives. :Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders and senior management. :Superior organisational skills, and experience in working with a diverse team environment. :Ability to guide environmental, social and governance considerations related to transactions. :Close familiarity with alternative financing structures and market themes.
