Engineering Machining Manager : (West Midlands) Working within a specialist machining and grinding operation near Wolverhampton, our client is seeking an Engineering Machining Manager to support their ongoing manufacturing growth activity working alongside the group within the global aerospace and industrial sectors. Managing a team of circa 30 people, the role is focused on successful day:to:day machining engineering and operational efficiency, schedule adherence as well as maintaining their journey in continuous improvement and best practice. This is a hands:on role reporting to the Group Operations Director. Working to high tolerances and with specialist carbon:based materials as well as metallics, the Engineering Machining Manager should have considerable experience of working and leading an engineering and manufacturing team with a strength in CNC grinding, machining or similar operations. This role would ideally suit candidates who have seen career success from a machinist level through to a supervisory/management position. The established organisation has a wealth of experience and with dedicated production planning and scheduling systems, this role requires experience to working to accurate demand signals and working closely with all departments of the business to ensure conformance, cost and schedule adherence.
