Working Monday : Friday shift pattern : 8:30am : 5pm or 9am : 5:30pm What youll do on a typical day: : Managing the day:to:day operations over a wide range of key accounts and general customers, dealing with both import and export : multi modal. : You will be responsible for submitting documentation to HMRC, monitoring progress, and resolving any queries through communication with our customers or internal XPO management. : You will engage with different stakeholders and customers ensuring a high level of service throughout all operational tasks. : Follow customer and internal SOPs, SLAs and KPI management. What you need to succeed at XPO: : Essential: Previous experience working for a freight forwarder : imports and exports within 2 or more multi modal areas (Air, Land or Sea). : Essential: Customs experience : understanding processes. : Essential: The ability to pick up new systems : Essential: Positive attitude and drive for continuous improvement . : Essential: Exceptional customer service skills and confidence on the phone, coupled with effective written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role. : Desirable: experience in a supervisory level : stepping up, leading and coaching teams.
