Qualifications Assessor Homeworking : covering the Worcestershire area GBP 30,643 : GBP 31,236 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Qualifications Assessor to join our Qualifications Care team that sits within our Learning and Development team which is part of our wider HR Department. The team has 14 members in various parts of the country and is dedicated to supporting our care / support staff to achieve their health and social care qualifications from level 2 : 5. The job holder will be responsible for undertaking assessments for Qualification programmes ensuring the delivery of high:quality, cost:effective services in line with business requirements. The role of Qualifications Assessor will include: stylemargin:top:0.0cm;margin:bottom:0.0cm typedisc: : Support a caseload of 40 learners to gather evidence for their Health and Social care Diploma Qualifications. These are Sanctuary staff who are based in various locations throughout Worcestershire who you will be visiting on a regular basis : Support learners to use our electronic portfolio system OneFile and working from home judge evidence to be at the correct qualification level to meet the unit criteria : Attend standardisation meetings monthly either via teams or in Worcester at our Head office : Complete CPD activities to retain occupational competency to assess Health and Social care qualifications Skills and experiences: stylemargin:top:0.0cm;margin:bottom:0.0cm typedisc: : D32/33 or TAQA L3 or equivalent : Health and social care qualifications to a minimum of level 3 as a minimum : Recent experience of undertaking a similar role undertaking assessments of Health and Social care programmes : Working knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice principles : Some experience working with qualification quality assurance systems : Professional experience in disciplines relevant to the qualifications being delivered : Experience in planning your own diary and building relationships with learners, staff, managers of services : Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams : Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential Why work for us?
