Job Description Supplies Co-ordinator Location: Clifton Park TC, York Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits Summary: Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy, including a small gym area. In 2018, the hospital opened a new outpatient departmentwith 11 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities. The role: We currently have a great opportunity for a Supplies Co-ordinator to join our team at Clifton Park Hospital based in York. As the Supplies Co-ordinator, you will be a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a team player and will have preferably worked in a stock control or goods-in environment previously, though this is not essential as full training will be given.   As a Supplies Coordinator you will be joining a team responsible for handling all orders and management of stock coming into the hospital. You will be responsible for the control of the ordering and stock control of the consumables and equipment needed in the hospital. You will also be required to carry out regular stock takes, place orders for goods as well as dispatching and putting away deliveries.  You will be able to demonstrate: Professional and confident IT skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Accuracy and reliability The ability to work independently and as part of a team Initiative with a flexible and proactive approach towork   English and Mathematics are an essential part of the role as is a good standard of general education. Some knowledge of medical terminology would be beneficial, though not essential. You must have a keen eye for detail.
