We are seeking a Lead Payroll Support Services to lead the payroll team in the crucial timely delivery of payroll services for Ambulance Victoria.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster Business Centre in line with our hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Payroll Services, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
Oversee and monitor the delivery of the large complex pay run, ensuring the timely approvals and payments to staff
Lead the Payroll team in the provision of high level, responsive customer service
Develop and manage effective key stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring clear communication to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll data and processing
Proactively identify & create process improvement opportunities to improve existing payroll processes, practises and frameworks
Contribute to the maintenance and review of policies and procedures in order to comply with all legislative requirements
To be considered for this position you will possess:
Proven experience leading teams
Significant experience providing high-quality service whilst ensuring compliance and quality requirements are met
Experience in interpreting and applying relevant legislation, awards, policies and instructions
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and payroll systems; Chris21, SAP or UKG would be desirable
