As a Research Specialist at the Future of Canada Centre (FCC), you will help develop and activate cross:sectoral thought leadership for Deloitte Canada that focuses on building a thriving future for our country. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, and logical thinkers with a passion for and experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research. In this role, you will: :Contribute to all stages of the development of high:profile thought leadership pieces, from ideation through launch and activation. :Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using a variety of methodologies (e.g., executive interviews, surveys, workshops, focus groups) and data sources (both public and proprietary). :Manage discrete pieces of work with support from senior team members and the Research Lead, and provide ongoing status reports to same. :Assist in monitoring industry and policy developments, both in Canada and globally. :Support the development of internal and external materials related to research insights (e.g., presentations, briefing notes, articles), and support the review of Marketing collateral related to research insights and thought leadership pieces. :Present FCC's insights to leadership, and support leadership in engaging with clients and stakeholders on research insights. :Support FCC research operations and related convenings, including by drafting communications templates, organizing meetings and events, and developing facilitation materials (e.g., discussion prompts, one:pagers, run:of:show guides). :Participate in teambuilding, team learning, and strategic planning initiatives, and assist in organizing such initiatives as required.
