Job Description
Sushi Wara Japanese Restaurant is located at #31-370 Davis Rd., Ladysmith, BC, V9G 1T9. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Chef (Japanese foods). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Chef
Wage: CAD$35.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~ 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
· Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of foods
· Prepare and cook Japanese foods, chef's special, and special foods
· Create new recipes and plan menus
· Supervise activities of cooks and staff
· Monitor and requisition food and supplies
Job Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school;
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required.
· Cook certificate an asset.
Language at work: English
