As Coordinator, International Learner Registration, you will coordinate the documentation required for international learners. This includes reviewing appointment requests for International Learners which includes reviewing Specialty Certificates, MD, Goals and Objectives, funding letters and CVs to ensure they meet the appointment standards set out for CPSO licensure and IRCC work permits. You will also be responsible for tracking work permit and passport expirations, applying for the Labour Market Impact Assessment Exemption, and respond to inquiries from learners and the various departments. Your strong customer focus and relentless attention to detail will support all stages of the work permit process and cultivate a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include: :Analyzing foreign academic documents to assess their authenticity along with ensuring Canadian equivalences :Creating and/or editing original, published content and materials :Implementing plans and process improvements for program activities :Ensuring procedures and guidelines are followed and handling sensitive/confidentialinformation :Resolving service complaints :Developing content for instructional workshops :Collating and organizing data for various reports, including identifying data discrepancies Essential Qualifications: :Bachelors Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience. :Minimum three (3) years' front:line experience, preferably in a medical school or teaching hospital. :Demonstrated experience with student services and program administration. :Experience processing documentation for international learners, including work permits. :Experience collecting and maintaining data and generating reports. :Experience developing content for instructional workshops. :Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, video conferencing platforms (Zoom) and student information systems :Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written :Strong customer service orientation, including the ability to resolve complaints. :Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while responding to urgent and unexpected situations :Ability to work consistently with meticulous attention to detail :Ability to function well in a team environment under minimal supervision :Proven ability to exercise judgement, tact, diplomacy and a high degree of initiative :Proven ability to deal with matters of extreme sensitivity and confidentiality Assets (Nonessential): :Experience processing documentation for licensing bodies :Experience processing documents through the IRCC Employer Portal :Experience working with POWER registration and Online Appointment Tracking System (OATS) To be successful in this role you will be: :Approachable :Communicator :Diligent :Meticulous Closing Date: 07/03/2025, 11:59PM ET Employee Group: USW Appointm
