The Opportunity Reporting to the supervisors and Manager of Health Information Services, the Registration Scheduling Clerk's primary responsibilities are to complete patient booking/scheduling and participate in patient registration. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Answers telephone/e:mail inquiries and communicates messages and information accurately by referring inquiries, with follow:up, as appropriate; Photocopies reports and correspondence; distributes accordingly; Prepares daily schedules; Receives referrals and processes for review by the clinical coordinator; Attends team meetings; Prepares and scans patient charts, maintains office filing system and records to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of material. Processes incoming and outgoing mail; Demonstrates customer service skills; Maintains daily statistics for appointments; Schedules surgical OR booking/scheduling, patient appointments and registers clinic patients via Meditech; Manages inventory of supplies and places orders, as required.
