Full Time 12:Hour Rotating Shift Manufacturing Team Member (12 Month Contract) Contracts may be extended up to a maximum of 2 years based on business conditions and performance. Throughout your contract you will be considered for permanent opportunities that become available. About the Position: We are looking for Team Members who can thrive in a fast:paced 24/7 advancedmanufacturing environment. Our Team Members support various aspects of the steel production process. Successful applicants will be considered for opportunities within the areas listed below based onskills and previous experiences. stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Cokemaking:Responsible for transforming coal into coke. : Ironmaking: Combines coke with iron ore and limestone to create liquid iron. : Steelmaking: Molten iron is transformed into steel and cast into slabs. Steel scraps are also recycled into new slabs. : Hot Mill : Reheats slabs and runs them through a roughing mill to flatten the steel into a long continuous sheet. Coilers then wind the hot rolled steel into coils. : Material Handling and Logistics: Manages our supply of raw materials as well as moving heavy slabs and steel coils to their next destination in the manufacturing process. : Cold Roll Tin / Pickling and Cold Rolling / Galvanize :Coils are unwound, flattened, and coated in either zinc, aluminum, or tin plating depending on the end use. : Tube Mill : Cuts coils and forms them into tubes for automotive end use. : Finished Product Shipping :Coils are packaged and transported to our warehouse where they wait to be picked up by truck for delivery to our customers.
