Primary Function: To perform all tasks of a NDE Inspector Level B and to conduct non:destructive examinations. Tasks: stylemargin:bottom:13.0px: : Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the Shop. : Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures. : Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation. : Demonstrate good workmanship and practices. : Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, Project Management, Engineering) as well as customer representatives. : Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations. : Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations. Qualifications: : Proven commitment to workplace safety. : Mustpossess either MT CGSB:2 OR PT CGSB:2 PLUS 2 of the following 6: stylelist:style:type:circle: : CEDO : UT CGSB:1 : RT CGSB:1 : 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd.; : 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd.; : Certified Weld Inspector (AWS:CWI or CWB2). : Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power:related industry. : Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations. : Proficient with computer software. : Must be available to work any of the following shifts : stylelist:style:type:circle: : Days: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
