In addition to producing bulk canola oil and meal, our food products division produces a wide variety of canola-based margarines, oils, and shortenings for the industrial, retail and foodservice markets.   Working with Richardson opens to door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver at our Oakville, ON location.  Responsibilities:Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times:Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedurePerform loading and off-loading functions of trailers and/or warehouse transfersEnsure loading of quality finished product with no visible non-conformities for all customers and/or transfer ordersResponsible for accurate inventory and reporting all discrepanciesCommunicate any deviations of the loading/unloading schedule to the Operations Supervisor or Logistics CoordinatorPerform all aspects of computerized bills of ladingPerform physical counts of inventory as directedOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Grade twelve or equivalentValid forklift and high reach licence or willing to obtainAbility to use radio frequency scannerMinimum of 3 years previous experienceMust be willing to work overtime Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.  Interested candidates should click the Apply to this Position icon to apply online by May 14, 2025.  Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
