The Application Architect is a pivotal role within the Global Fraud Technology initiatives, responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of advanced solutions that enhance the organizations digital presence and operational efficiency. In this role you will: : Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. : Champions a high:performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. : Oversee migration and deployment projects, including those associated with any transition to new data processing or ML:Ops technologies. : Develop and maintain architecture decisions, ensuring optimal performance, cost:efficiency, and scalability. : Maintain detailed documentation of architecture decisions, project plans, and operational procedures : Partner with multiple teams Bank wide to collaborate on strategy and direction and apply to architecture and application design. : Driving innovation that can bring business values, participating in building Proof of Concepts. : Lead technical/design sessions and discussions, ensuring alignment with Fraud strategic goals and technical requirement. : Ensure all solutions comply with security standards, such as PCI compliance for data tokenization. : Assess and analyze business strategy and requirements, the current technical environment and technology options to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business needs and bank strategy. : Present and leverage technical information and solutions in a way that establishes trust relationships, persuades stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels. : Designing architectural solutions, roadmaps and related strategies that are aligned to Enterprise Standards in the effort to modernization software applications. : Participating in design discussions focused on scalability, design and implementation of best practices. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline : 7+ years of software engineering industry experience. : 5+ years of experience in architecture design processes, creating reference architectures and architecture artifacts that guide design decisions related to applications, data, integration and infrastructure. : Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors. : Cloud Computing: typedisc: : Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including managing resources and optimizing costs. : Data processing tools/concepts such as Pub/Sub, Dataflows, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Kafka, MongoDB, Apache Flink. : Hands:on experience in the system analysis, design, architecture of complex, multi:tier development and production environments involving: typedisc: : Microservices design : Event driven architecture : ETL and data solutions : Domain driven design techniques : Cloud platforms deployment : System resiliency engineering typedisc: : Agile practices applied to a product team : Data Management: typedisc: : Expertise in managing large:scale data ingestion, storage, and processing, including real:time and batch processing. : Security: typedisc: : Strong understanding of data security prot
