Our client, a successful capital equipment dealer, is searching for a Branch Sales Manager in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. The Branch Sales Manager will manage the sales activities for the branch including the implementation of objectives and sales processes. The position is responsible for sales metrics in addition to attracting, retaining, and coaching Territory Managers. RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and coach sales professionals in the Yorkton branch along with direct responsibility for specified accounts as needed based on growth strategy.Create and manage development plans for Territory ManagersEnsure sales metrics and goals are met for the regionEnsure a consistent sales process is followedProvide input in the development of the whole goods marketing strategyWork with Sales Management team to identify and execute best practicesWork with Service, Parts & Integrated Solutions departments to promote customer satisfactionManage sales budgets for the branch, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectivesMay be involved in the development and implementation of incentive plans for sales team and customersMay assist with creating the Sales Department business plan with Territory Manager and Branch ManagerMay oversee or assist with used and new inventory levels/metricsMaintain attention to cost reduction and savingsWork to build and maintain a supportive and constructive internal relations, and effective and productive team dynamicsEnsure all safety regulations and requirements are followed by self and othersParticipate in training programs as required for the development of skills and knowledge DESIRED PROFILE:Post-secondary education in Ag Business, Marketing or related field; Associates/Bachelors degree preferred. Equivalent education or experience may be considered3+ years sales experience, 1+ years sales management experienceFamiliar with John Deere and competitive products would be advantageousManagerial abilities including leading, coaching, developing and motivating othersEffective written and verbal communication skills in individual or group settingsAbility to define and implement sales processes, use sales computer applications and tools as well as confidence in using computer applications, technology and toolsValid driver’s license requiredWilling to travel and able to work flexible hoursInterested in this Opportunity? Submit an Application Package by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION
